Let’s continue our series of tutorials for Meizu M2 Note Android smartphone. In this post we’ll share the working step-by-step tutorial on how to unlock bootloader the right way. This guide is intended for advanced users only.
Unlocking Bootloader Tutorial for Meizu M2 Note
- Start with downloading unlocktools.zip
- Unpack downloaded archive to “C:\unlocktools”.
- Open “Device manager” on your PC.
- Install drivers from “MTK Phone Driver” folder.
- Run SP FlashTool as administrator.
- In FlashTool press “Download Agent” and select MTK_AllInOne_DA.bin file.
- Press “Scatter-loading” and select MT6753_Android_scatter.txt file.
- In FlashTool find “secro” field and press on location > select “temp_unlock_secro.img” file from “unlock images” folder. In case you’ve got Flyme version early than 5.x.x.x, then you don’t need to flash temp_secro file, you need to flash secro right from the start.
- Press “Download”.
- Turn off your phone and connect to PC via USB-cable.
- After flashing is completed, press “Ok” button and disconnect your device. Do not turn off your until you finish all the steps!
- Now in FlashTool click on location and select the required files:
- preloader – preloader_meizu6753_65c_l1.bin;
- lk – lk.bin
- secro – secro.img
- Press “Download”.
- After flashing is completed, disconnect your device from PC and turn it on.
- Enjoy unlocked bootloader!
